Want to know what it is like to be a student at ACPHS? What do students do for fun? How hard is the coursework? What does Albany have to offer?
Our students:
• Alex (a 5th-year PharmD student)
• Dan (a 2nd-year BS Pharmaceutical Sciences student)
• Kelsey (a 2nd-year BS Pharmaceutical Sciences student)
will be posting 3x a week to tell it how it is!
ACPHS Student Ambassador Blog
Hey Everyone!
It’s only the end of the second week of classes, but time is already flying by. All the students have been busy meeting their new professors and getting used to their schedules. As a second year BS of pharmaceutical sciences student, I’m taking Organic Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Statistics this semester. I’m especially enjoying the small size of my physics class with only about 10 students; it’s a great way to to get to know my instructor and classmates. (One of the benefits of being a bachelor’s student at ACPHS!)
Even though we all have studying to do during the week, there’s definitely enough time for fun too. I’ve had enough time to get to the gym every day this week, catch up with old friends after winter break, and go to the basketball game tonight. The men’s team pullled off a good win 85-72 and Casey Redfern scored his 1,000th point in a ACPHS uniform. With the win, the team improved to 12-3. The women’s team is also 12-3 on the season, so there has been a lot of excitement as both teams are ranked very highly in their league’s.
I hope everyone is doing well being back at school and I’ll talk to you soon.
